An excelent performance by the IDE (Direct Foreign Investements) in South Korea. In the first quarter of the last year, in fact, they increased by 43,6%, compared with the same period in 2001, amounting to a figure equivalent to 2.74 billion dollars. The South Korean economy seems in grat shape and it has benefited from, among other things, heavy investements from Italy which have been concentrated, above all in the creation of joint venture enterprises consisting of the opening of commercial branches.
