MODA MADE IN ITALY: NON E´ TUTT´ORO QUEL CHE LUCCICA!

The downturn in the world economic situation is making itself felt even in the fashion system, which, according to figures provided by Hermes Lab, should end the year on a fall. The forecast revenue of 71.097 million Euros is equal to a 2.5% fall, and exports of 41.495 million Euros are equal to a 4.8% drop. The commercial balance should go from 21.606 million Euro from 2001 to 18.295 millions. Hope is, therefore, postponed until 2003 for the industry of Italian fashion that however reflects a certain interesting dynamism at least as far as orders are concerned, where percentages appear to have actually risen compared to last year.
